I had a look at using tapatalk.com but it seemed filled with ads. Just had a look at groups.io the free version has a 100 person limit. That might not be a problem, but it could be close.
We really need to see how much interest there is in joining a replacement.

To put this in context, I sent two messages to the Old Britarch mailing list informing people of this new forum. Neither post appeared. It seems that the same people who so callously shut down Britarch, didn't want an alternative either! That is the kind of behavour that caused me & others to leave - and no doubt why Britarch then fell apart.
Fortunately, Mike Brass is one of the old School academics that used to make Britarch so good. He has acted and this is his message:

They got through eventually, but only after someone else had posted about my messages not getting through and effectively bypassing the censorship, making the censorship pointless and embarrassing.
However, I'm in a good mood today. I've worked out a plausible developmental pathway for our ancestors up to around 2-3million years ago. No doubt I will again spot some fatal flaw in the near future, but for now I'm feeling happy.
